PowerCat 6A shielded cables are a key component of the PowerCat 6A end-to-end solution.

Molex PowerCat 6A U/FTP cables are specifically designed to support high-speed data networking applications such as 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T). The cable consists of 4 pairs of shielded wires and a drain wire. The cable minimizes external crosstalk, provides excellent signal isolation, and provides excellent electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection.

Molex recommends using the full line of PowerCat 6A shielding products in the system to maximize cabling performance. The system complies with ISO/IEC 11801 amendment 1 and TIA/EIA 568.2-D to support 10GBASE-T.
